I would encourage more women to get into IT.
I am proud to be a young woman working in an IT company. With it being my first job, I have gained a huge amount of confidence knowing that I could work in any field I want to regardless of whether it is male-dominated or not.
I would encourage more women to get into IT as it is a field with many opportunities and promising future prospects. Constantly, I am gaining first-hand knowledge about the ever changing nature of technology and about how it impacts our world.
I believe technology will play a central role in how Thailand and the rest of the world develops from now on, and that is why it’s important for women to be a part of that. The advice that I would give to those women who are seeking such careers is to work hard and never stop being yourself.
Confidence goes a long way towards earning the respect of your male peers and so the main thing is to believe in yourself and to never give up while pursuing your dreams.
As technology helps people to connect without boundaries, learning about it should overcome the boundaries like gender and age as well.
“Working Woman” is an excellent description for various women in this digital era. I also appreciate to be defined with this kind of word. According to the increasing of technology trends, working in the IT field is very fantastic because you will endless learn about new technologies that are totally amazing and useful for living.
However, it is believed that working in the IT field is not supposed to be a woman’s task.
But I think this belief is totally a big mistake. As technology helps people to connect without boundaries, learning about it should overcome the boundaries, like gender and age as well. Thus, I would like to encourage every woman in Thailand to express your hidden abilities to the world and show them that you are incredible, and do not stop learning because knowledge means opportunity.
