Pay Attention to Your Password

Having a strong password would help to protect your online accounts from cybercriminals and decrease the risk of identity theft (stealing phone number, credit card numbers and other sensitive information).

It is recommended to have a strong password mixed of numbers, capital letters, lowercase letters and special characters with a minimum of 12 characters length. Please remember to not use the same password for every platform and change it every 6 months.

Disable “Autofill’ Feature

Most people always click “Remember password” and “Keep me signed in” to have easier and quicker access to their accounts; however, try to think what would happen if someone steals your device. All your accounts will certainly be easy for the stealer to access and steal your sensitive data, passwords and pretend to be you in the worst case!

Disable Autofill Feature and Avoid Auto Log In would be a great idea to prevent yourself from cybercrimes and local threats.
